Join us for our 2nd Young Transport Professionals Panel event exploring Sustainability and Urban Design
Come and hear from our speakers about Urban Planning & Sustainability, in the perspective of smarter city transport connections. The panel will discuss design thinking on sustainable transport solutions that enable smarter city/transport integration. This includes conversation on government transport agenda, transport modality, and infrastructure.

Panelists:
Cass Kenworthy, Senior Transportation Engineer, Aurecon
With over 6 years’ experience working in both public and private sectors, Cass is passionate about
transport and its role in the community in terms of accessibility and sustainability. Her experience at
Aurecon, in the Transport Unit, has included a breadth of planning and operations projects such as
corridor management plans, public transport infrastructure planning and optimisation projects,
programme and single stage business cases and network operations projects. A passionate
cyclist, she is currently leading the delivery of single-stage business case for cycling infrastructure in
Auckland.
Ed Harvey, CEO, Evnex
Founder and CEO of Evnex, a Christchurch company that develops intelligent
charging solutions for electric vehicles. Ed studied electronics engineering at Canterbury University,
and converted his car to electric during his final year. Ed is passionate about the decarbonisation of
transport and his vision for Evnex is to leverage cloud connected charging technology to maximise
the convenience and availability of EV charging infrastructure, while improving electricity network
resilience through smarter charging management.
Gabriela Jimenez Rojas, Environment and Planning Consultant, Aurecon
Gabriela is a passionate advocate for equality in transport, active systems and high quality urban
forms. With a graduate degree in Urban Planning and Design from the University of Auckland, Gabriela now
works as an Environment and Planning Consultant at Aurecon, and a committee member of Women
in Urbanism Aotearoa(WIUA). Through WIUA Gabriela has been an active member within the transport and
urbanism industry, including as a Panellist at ITSNZ’s “Micromobility and the future of transport” in April 2019
and as an interviewee on and B-Side Stories on the Wellington Access Network.
