ITS New Zealand and Transport Knowledge Hub event launches the discussion on data and skills requirements to achieve the full potential of the Intelligent Transport sector
The recent event on Future Data and Skills requirements in ITS attracted over 100 registrations, with government and private sector both keen to identify the skills and data needs and roadblocks that may hinder innovation and industry growth. The reports should help drive investment and ensure New Zealand is well placed to achieve the benefits of ITS that contribute to a safer and more effective transport network.
For ITS New Zealand this is an area where the organisation has a role to play as identified in the business plan and skills development initiatives under development.
