Start-ups sought for Innovation Competition
ITS America has announced a Global Innovation Competition to identify start-ups producing emerging technologies and solutions that create a Safer, Greener, Smarter Mobility System.
To be considered for the competition New Zealand start-ups are urged to contact ITSNZ as soon as possible.
The Global innovation competition is hosted by ITS America, ERTICO, and ITS Asia-Pacific. Our partners for the competition include Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI) and Prospect Silicon Valley.
There will be three semi-final competitions held globally. The semi-finals will be held in Europe, Asia-Pacific, and North America. There will be two winners selected from each region that will travel to the ITS World Congress 2020 in Los Angeles to compete to be the two grand prize winners
Entry Criteria: Start-up Less than five years old, with less than $5M in revenue, and have a product in pilot, beta, or prototype stage.
The semi-finalist winners from each region will receive $5,000 USD. Semi-finalists will also receive promotion leading up to the World Congress.
Global winner and U.S. winners: At the ITS World Congress in Los Angeles, the judges will select a United States based winner as well as a global winner.
Both winners will receive $20,000 USD cash prize, a marketing package and extensive networking opportunities with leaders in the ITS industry. Winners will also have the opportunity to attend ITS Asia-Pacific, ERTICO, and ITS America Annual Meetings in 2021.
