Helder Peguicha

Helder is an accomplished railsystems engineering specialist with an extensive background of over 24 years in the field. He has a degree in Civil Engineering with a major in Environmental Engineering from QUT, and a Masters Business Administration (MBA) in Technology Management. Throughout his career, he has consistently achieved outstanding results in a wide range of rail infrastructure projects, both in green field and brownfield environments. Helder possesses a remarkable record of accomplishment in rail construction management, design integration, testing and commissioning management. He is well-versed in collaborative delivery, integrated planning, and the attainment of cost-effective technical solutions.
Moreover, Helder’s keen interest in cutting-edge technology and research pertaining to sustainable railway applications sets him apart. His professional journey has encompassed roles on both the client side and contractor side.
In recent years, Helder has held significant positions such as Railsystems Integration Manager for the RIS Alliance on the Cross River Rail. He has also served as Rail Manager on the Moreton Bay Rail project and fulfilled the role of Rail Operations Manager for the Regional Rail Link from Footscray to Deer Park . Additionally, Helder was seconded as a Queensland Rail Project Manager for the TrackStar Alliance.
