Fred Kalt

Fred Kalt is the Managing Director Asia Pacific for Yunex Traffic, a former Siemens and now Atlantia business. He is running the region from Singapore and Sydney/Australia and in those functions he is both, President of the Intelligent Transportation Society (ITS) Singapore and on the Board of Directors of ITS Australia.

Fred has held several senior management positions with Siemens / Yunex Traffic with assignments in Germany, Nigeria, Vietnam, China, USA, Singapore and Australia.
His involvement with ITS dates back to when he was head of Siemens’ ITS unit in Beijing/China for Northeast Asia from 2005 to 2008.

He studied Information Technology and Electrical Engineering in Germany and has a passion for ITS-related innovations that drive the mobility industry in business and technology. In particular, he is passionate about the digitisation of ITS as it makes road networks and fleets safer and smarter, benefiting people and the environment.
