Nina Elter is CEO of NEWROAD Consulting, a strategic advisory firm focused on sustainable business and societal transitions, and serves as Senior Advisor to the International Road Federation. With over 25 years of experience in transport and technology, she specialises in infrastructure funding, road safety, and sustainable development. Nina supports public and private stakeholders in developing and adopting long-term strategies that drive progress towards sustainable transport systems.

She has a strong record setting and executing strategies for market entry, business expansion, and advocacy, including her work with EROAD in New Zealand, where she played a key role in the company’s international growth. Her time living abroad and working globally has deepened her understanding of international policy and the importance of bridging regulatory and cultural gaps.

Known for a practical, systems-thinking approach, Nina helps organisations develop inclusive solutions that balance environmental, economic, and social goals. She brings an international perspective and a focus on translating diverse perspectives into actionable solutions.
