Jarrod Levet

With over 20 years in IT Infrastructure Engineering, Jarrod transitioned into the ITS space in 2021, bringing a strong background in network operations and systems support. At Tauranga City Council, he is primarily responsible for the day-to-day operations and configuration of the ITS communications network, ensuring the reliability and performance of connected transport assets across the city.

His role includes maintaining and developing backend systems such as VMS and automation platforms, supporting the seamless flow of data across the ITS environment. Jarrod is also contributing to the use of analytics and camera metadata to enable more data-driven transport operations in the future. His ability to bridge traditional IT infrastructure with emerging transport technologies enables him to support the city’s journey toward smarter, more connected ITS solutions.
