Paul Musson

Currently, Paul is Asset Management for ITS systems in the Auckland Region for the Auckland System Management (ASM), and Tunnels Manager. In this role he has responsibilities for a range of technologies across New Zealand’s largest urban motorway network including VMS, Cameras, Loop detection and signals.

Paul’s career started with civil and structural engineering and project management, he has amassed knowledge and worked in several roles around systems and transportation.

Paul moved to New Zealand in 2007 as a fire and compliance engineer, having worked for London Underground and Rail track on major projects, such as Jubilee Line Extension and Kings Cross, joining the Auckland Motorway Alliance in 2011. The Auckland Motorway Alliance became Auckland System Management in 2019.
