Join us for an exciting opportunity exploring a behind the scenes look at Waterview Tunnel, New Zealand’s most complex road tunnel and a key piece of tech-enbaled infrastructure for the motorway network in Auckland. Hosted by SICE, the site visit will provide an insight of the tunnel construction and the ITS and control systems installed to operate the electrical and mechanical systems required to manage the tunnel safely and effectively.
The visit will include both the Tunnel Control Room and to tunnel equipment rooms to see the installed technology up close and how it is monitored to ensure safe and resilient operation.
Following the site visit there will be an opportunity for Q&A, refreshments and networking.
