Young Transport Professionals (YTP) New Zealand was formed in May 2020 as part of ITSNZ (Intelligent Transport Systems New Zealand) with a vision to diversify the transport industry by providing a platform to those starting out in their career.
YTP runs regular events as well as a successful mentoring programme, and represents over 300 members across Aotearoa. YTP is supported by ITSNZ and it’s over 50 members representing Industry, Government, and Academia across the wider New Zealand transport sector. YTP continues to grow and expand across Aotearoa.
Join the YTP Committee
We are opening the opportunity for new volunteers (including two Co-Chairs) to join the 2024 YTP Committee for a minimum of 1 year.
This is a great opportunity for those wishing to develop their networks, represent their organisation and sector and help support young professionals. Committee members can gain relevant committee experience for future Board and Director roles. For organisations this is a way to help develop a skills pipeline for the wider sector, encourage your young leaders to apply.
