As the Head of Partnerships at Compass IoT, I work with transport professionals to help build smarter, safer cities and roads using connected vehicle data. I get to work with incredible leader, engineers, scientists and thinkers who are using data to solve problems that were not previously solvable. I’ve seen connected vehicle data used to:
*halve crashes on one of Sydney’s busiest roads
*map road damage caused by the recent Lismore floods to help prioritise maintenance and repair
*keep road workers safe on Australia’s largest ever highway pavement upgrade
*prioritise safety treatments at high risk rail level crossings
*evaluate safety treatments, reveal key rat running routes, show where heavy vehicles are collecting and delivering loads, and even understand where EVs are stopping to charge.
I’m passionate about helping people through technology, working with others, and building legacies worth leaving.
