Dr Ranjan Pant

Dr. Ranjan Pant holds a PhD in Transportation Engineering from the University of Hannover, Germany. He is currently based in the NZ Transport Agency’s Auckland office, where he leads the Transport Engineering Team nationally. Dr. Pant has over 24 years of experience in transport and traffic planning, particularly in the planning, designing, and implementation of urban and metropolitan transport systems, including transport technology and infrastructure engineering projects. He also has a strong research background, especially in areas such as the development of future reliable town and transport planning concepts, the concept and implementation of sustainable transport development and public transport, and the economic aspects of transport/infrastructure development.
