Infrastructure & Fleet Specification ManagerAuckland TransportEdward leads the Infrastructure and Fleet Specification team at Auckland Transport. This team are responsible for the work to decarbonise Auckland’s bus and ferry fleets, as well as for specifying new public transport infrastructure across the city.
Edward started his career in public transport at Environment Canterbury, where his work included redesigning the bus network after the 2011 Christchurch earthquake, and leading the design and rollout a new cohesive bus livery for the Metro brand. He also had a period working at Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency in the public transport team, where his work included responsibility for the bus decarbonisation portfolio.
He is passionate about public transport, and particularly the role it plays in offering a low carbon transport alternative.
