Katherine Sandford

Katherine Sandford is EVP Business Development at UBCO, an award-winning producer of electric utility vehicles. She has previously held the roles of CEO and Board Chair.

Katherine built her executive career at NASDAQ-listed Trimble Inc over more than 20 years, where she led global customer services and sales teams, and held a number of general management roles. She lived and worked in Europe and the United States, and on returning to New Zealand in 2014 engaged in supporting early-stage technology companies as an investor and advisor before joining UBCO full-time.

Katherine is an active angel investor, serves on the board of the Kiwi Innovation Network (KiwiNet) and is an elected member of the AgriTech New Zealand Executive Council. She is passionate about the application of technology, with a particular focus on the environment.
