    Michael Roth

    Michael is working on congestion charging, emissions reductions, parking, safety and supporting Councillors. Michael has over 25 years transport policy experience in Australia. With degrees in Manufacturing Engineering and Psychology, Michael focuses on human-centred design and mobility behaviour.

    Michael worked for the Queensland Government Transport Department primarily involved in
    central policy, legislative development and roles related to sustainability, congestion reduction and
    improving walking, cycling and public transport. Michael then became Head of Public Policy for the Royal Automobile Club of Queensland to broaden their advocacy focus from motoring to mobility his work included progressing Road User Charging policy.

    Prior to moving to Auckland last July, Michael worked for a transport modelling and planning company to expand their business to include innovative modelling scenarios, mobility policy and future transport technologies.
