Ranjan Pant

Dr Ranjan Pant has a PhD degree in Transportation Engineering from the University of Hannover, Germany. Dr Pant is currently based in Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency’s Auckland office and lead Transport Engineering Team nationally. He has more than 22-years transport and traffic planning experience particularly in the planning, designing and implementations of urban and metropolitan transport system including transport technology and infrastructure engineering projects. He also has research background, especially in the areas like development of future reliable town and transport planning concepts, concept and implementation of sustainable transport development, public transport and active- mode improvements and environmental aspect of transport/infrastructure development.
