Unsure about what ITS is? You’re not alone, and it’s not that surprising.
Whether you’re a new or existing stakeholder in ITS, “Intelligent Transportation Systems” may be something you find hard to define.
30 years ago the first Intelligent Transportation Systems World Congress was held in Paris, cementing ITS as a globally recognised term for the field intersecting transport and technology.
Since then, the pace of technology development, innovation and new tech-enabled solutions has been exponential. ITS has become a kind of catch-all for transportation technologies and related solutions, far beyond the original core focus of traffic management systems.
Join us to hear perspectives from a range of stakeholders, for an exploration of the range of technologies and tech-enabled solutions that are now under the “ITS” umbrella globally. We will also explore a global perspective, with a short review of the recent ITS America Conference.
Networking drinks will follow presentations and a short panel discussion and Q&A.
We are grateful to our Gold Members Beca who are hosting us at their offices and providing the online streaming technology.
